Community Rules
Because we're got to have some law & order around here, Community Rules:

  1. Your friendly neighborhood mods are triskellita, onthecontrary and minervacat. Any questions or concerns can be directed to summer.of.ats at gmail.com and all three mods will do our best to take care of them.

  2. There will be no flaming in this community. This is a multi-ship, multi-genre community -- we are not only slash, het, and gen friendly, we are slash, het, and gen welcome. Anyone who engages in 'ship or character bashing, 'ship or character wars, or 'ship or character flaming will be warned twice and banned on the third offense. That does not mean that character discussion is not welcome, because it absolutely is. But please, please keep all discussion of characters and relationships civil and polite.

  3. Each week, one of the mods will make two posts. The first will be a discussion post, for discussion of the episodes, and the second will be a "miscellaneous" post, for everything else: fic recs and fic bunnies, graphics, anything else that you want to post for or about the episodes of that week. We'll arrange various challenges specific to episodes and arcs throughout the summer, as well.

  4. The episode discussion post will be spoiler-free for any episodes that have not yet been watched. Spoilers for earlier episodes are fair game, but consider that some of your fellow community members may not have seen later episodes, and may want to watch spoiler-free. If spoilery comments are made -- even by one of the mods -- they'll be screened until the spoilers pass in the episode viewing schedule.

  5. Anonymous commenting is enabled, but if you do not have a LiveJournal account and would like to leave comments, please sign anonymous comments with a name and/or email address. We won't put up with trolls.
Anything else, feel free to ask. Viewing starts tomorrow, and the schedule is here.

You may already plan to do this (or have said it elsewhere), but just as a random helpful thing, I found that in having viewing-discussions, it's really helpful to ask that everyone give threads subject headings, so people can steer right to, say, "Angel & Doyle Dynamic" or go over to "Cordy and Acting," whatever their preferences, when it gets a little comment heavy or for when threads collapse.

that's a great point -- we've included it in the info on the weekly discussion point. thanks for reminding us! :)
